SMOKEY EYE MAKEUP TUTORIAL
-
Outline the Eye with Smokey Eyeliner
Firstly, take the Colorshow Kohl Eyeliner Pencil in shade 410 to start with a smokey eyeliner look. A top tip is to create the shape of the smokey eye with the pencil first - it’s easier to move and play with this texture. Then take an eye shadow blending brush, and get blending. Don’t be afraid to take the pencil higher than the crease of the eyelid, as the shadow will give the illusion that the eye space is much bigger. Also, don’t be afraid to bring it onto the lower lash line, as this will begin to create super smokey eyes. -
Banish Dark Shadows
Once the eye pencil is super blended, we then bring in the Nudes Palette to work as a dark circle eraser. Neil starts with a matte shade to add more depth to the crease and under the eye. Once this is applied, simply go around the eye gently with your concealer brush to get rid of the dark shadows you don’t need.

Highlight for a Bronze Smokey Eye Shadow
Now, use the middle bronze tone on the centre of the eye lids, and then add a little gold colour to highlight the inner corner of the eyes. This gives them some width, and provides the appearance of bigger-looking eyes.

Lengthen Those Lashes
Next, add a layer of Maybelline mascara to the top and bottom lashes - make sure to watch our video on How to Apply Mascara Perfectly to get those lashes looking full and lengthened!

Add a Touch of Drama
If you want to give the look more drama, you can use Colorshow Kohl Eyeliner in Ultra Black to tight-line the upper & lower lash line, which will give more depth to the lashes.
